Hey guys, it's Persephone. In this post I am going to tell you the full story of my myth. Well here it goes... This myth took place on a completely normal day. This day was nothing special whatsoever, but it would be a day that changed my life for the worse. Hades went up to Mount Olympus hoping to talk to my father, Zeus. When Hades reached the gates of Olympus he saw Zeus and started talking to him. Hades did not make time for small talk, and he abruptly asked Zeus if he could marry me. Zeus was silently hesitant at first. He knew that my mother, Demeter, would be furious with him if he allowed his evil brother, and king of the Underworld, to marry me and take me away from her. Yet on the other hand, Zeus did not want to anger his brother and wanted to please him. Zeus eventually made his decision and showed Hades his approval with a smile and a wink. Zeus and Hades plotted my capture before Zeus send Hades away, back to the Underworld.
