Hades And Persephone http://www.pic2fly.com/Hades+And+Persephone.html

Hello again everyone, it's Persephone. In this post I am going to tell you about the resolution of my myth. Since my myth is really pretty short, the conclusion is not very complicated nor is it very lengthy. So, that being said, my myth basically ends with Zeus and Hades coming to a conclusion on how Hades will steal me away from my mother, Demeter, and take me to the Underworld as his wife. While formulating their plan, they come across the idea that Hades will come out of the earth, and quietly and discretely take me down to the Underworld with him. Zeus agrees to this plan wanting to make his brother happy, and Hades goes back to the Underworld to prepare his plans and my arrival.

  1. Wow! Zeus really is cruel. I can't imagine how a father can plot against his own daughter. I guess it didn't help that you were just one of his many daughters. But Zeus didn't care to much for his brother either right? Was there any special reason that he agreed to let Hades abduct you? Did Zeus need to repay Hades for something, or did he just feel like his brother could use someone cheerful to brighten him up?

  2. Hey Krishna! Yeah I agree with you that Zeus is really cruel. I do not think that Zeus needed to repay Hades for anything. I think that he just thought that Hades could use me to make him happier and lighten up the Underworld a bit. Zeus also did not want to anger his brother and wanted him to be happy, but obviously he did not take my happiness into consideration...
