Image result for pictures of zeusImage result for pictures of persephoneHey guys, it's Persephone. In this post I am going to tell you the full story of my myth. Well here it goes... This myth took place on a completely normal day. This day was nothing special whatsoever, but it would be a day that changed my life for the worse. Hades went up to Mount Olympus hoping to talk to my father, Zeus. When Hades reached the gates of Olympus he saw Zeus and started talking to him. Hades did not make time for small talk, and he abruptly asked Zeus if he could marry me. Zeus was silently hesitant at first. He knew that my mother, Demeter, would be furious with him if he allowed his evil brother, and king of the Underworld, to marry me and take me away from her. Yet on the other hand, Zeus did not want to anger his brother and wanted to please him. Zeus eventually made his decision and showed Hades his approval with a smile and a wink. Zeus and Hades plotted my capture before Zeus send Hades away, back to the Underworld.

Hades And Persephone http://www.pic2fly.com/Hades+And+Persephone.html

Hello again everyone, it's Persephone. In this post I am going to tell you about the resolution of my myth. Since my myth is really pretty short, the conclusion is not very complicated nor is it very lengthy. So, that being said, my myth basically ends with Zeus and Hades coming to a conclusion on how Hades will steal me away from my mother, Demeter, and take me to the Underworld as his wife. While formulating their plan, they come across the idea that Hades will come out of the earth, and quietly and discretely take me down to the Underworld with him. Zeus agrees to this plan wanting to make his brother happy, and Hades goes back to the Underworld to prepare his plans and my arrival.

Hello again, everyone! In this post I am going to talk about the climax of my myth. Since this myth is fairly short, I feel that there is no true and obvious climax, but when Zeus actually allows Hades that he can marry me is probably the most suspenseful part.

When Hades asks Zeus if he can marry me, Zeus is silently hesitant in his decision for a moment. He knows that it will make Demeter furious, but he does not want to let his brother down. Zeus never said out loud that Hades could marry me, but Zeus gave him unspoken permission by winking and smiling. This is the most suspenseful part because Hades and the reader were not sure whether Zeus would allow Hades to marry me. Admittedly, this was probably much more suspenseful for Hades than it would be for the reader...

Persephone the Wanderer” by Louise GlückZeus and Hades by abrar-ahsan      Hey guys, it's Persephone. This post is going to be about the conflict in the myth that I was telling you guys about yesterday. I feel that the conflict in this myth is very clear and simple: Hades and Zeus knew that my mother, Demeter, did not want Hades to take me to the Underworld with him, making it harder for them to formulate a plan to get me to be Hades's wife. In this myth, Zeus warns Hades that Demeter will not just allow her daughter, (and close friend), to be taken away from her and dragged to the land to the dead. This obviously would make Hades's and Zeus's plan much more difficult. Hades eventually convinces Zeus that he must have me as his wife. They come to the conclusion that Hades should abduct me and take me to the Underworld with him, but the rest is told later on in another myth.

Hi again guys, it's Persephone. In this post I am going to tell you a little bit about my husband, Hades, and my father, Zeus.

Hades is the god of the underworld, and he is also my husband. He is usually described as wearing dark clothes and having dark hair and eyes. He is definitely not the most kind of all the gods, but he absolutely worships and loves me. He has a very short temper and is dangerous when angered. I am considered one of the only people that he actually loves and respects. Hades has a rather morbid personality and is not particularly favored by the other gods and goddesses. One symbol of Hades is riches such as gold and silver.

Does Zeus exist: A scientific inquiry      My father Zeus is the king of the gods and the god of the sky and lightning. He is almost never seen without his thunderbolt. Zeus is usually described as having gray hair and light eyes, and he commonly wears simple, light clothes. He made it his mission in life to save all of his godly siblings from Cronus's stomach. His job is to try to keep the peace between all of the gods and goddesses as well as the mortals. He is not the most gentle and kind of the gods similarly to his brother Hades, and he cannot have a non open relationship because he lusts after every woman that he sees. He and I do not have the best relationship and I am not one of his most favored daughters. Some of his symbols are the thunderbolt, eagle, bull, and oak.

Hi guys, its Persephone again. You would find it unbelievable how little the amount of myths there are about me. It's offensive considering that I am pretty important if I say so myself, after all I am married to one of the most powerful gods and without me there wouldn't be seasons... Anyway, since I could only find two myths even mentioning me, this post is about the myth in which Hades asked my father Zeus if he could marry me. Truth be told, I had absolutely no interest in marrying Hades, not that I had any idea that he wanted to marry me. In fact, I did not wish to marry anyone and would have preferred to stay a maiden. My original name, Kore, even translated to "the maiden" in Greek. My mother, Demeter, also did not want me to find a suitor and wanted me to stay with her for eternity. My understanding of what happened in this myth was that Hades went to Mount Olympus to share with Zeus his interest in marrying me. My father agreed to let Hades marry me and take me to the Underworld with him. They formulated a plan to capture me so that Hades could take me back down to the Underworld with him. Like I previously stated, this myth takes place on Mount Olympus. I consider Olympus beautiful, as it should be with all of us gods and goddesses traveling through there frequently. While Zeus and Hades were talking, I assume that it was a pretty laid back conversation. I mean it's not like I was the most prized or favorited daughter of Zeus. This meant that Zeus had pretty much no problem giving me to his evil brother. Truth be told this is not the most complex of myths nor the most interesting, but after hours of trying to find any myths about me on this stupid internet thing, I had to give in to a pretty uninteresting and non descriptive myth. Sorry guys...
